The June 2017 Edition of the Clean Fuel Partnership newsletter is now available with information on:
- Record-High Reduction in Petroleum Consumption and Greenhouse Gas Emissions, SLCFP Recognizes 24 Clean Fleet Leaders: On June 13, 2017, the Southeast Louisiana Clean Fuel Partnership (SLCFP) recognized 24 local Clean Fleets that together set two regional records by reducing traditional fuel consumption over 3.5 million gasoline gallons equivalent (GGEs) and preventing 22,382 tons greenhouse gas emissions!
- LDEQ Seeks Project Proposals for Volkswagen Settlement Funding: According to the Volkswagen (VW) Settlement with EPA, Louisiana will receive approximately $18 million for diesel emissions reduction projects of which $12 million will be available for fleet projects. As the State’s Lead Agency, LDEQ is requesting project ideas from fleets to help develop the State’s proposed plan for the funding.

For guidance on fuel conservation and management approaches for fleet managers, the Alternative Fuels Data Center’s Strategies for Fleet Managers to Conserve Fuel page is a great resource.
